Entrevista com Joselton Freitas

Hoje, o Residevil está voltando com seu antigo quadro onde entrevistamos os fãs da série Resident Evil. Para a volta do quadro Entrevistas, trazemos hoje para vocês o fã Joselton Freitas, um dos administradores do Residevil. Confira:

#1 - Como você conheceu a série Resident Evil?

Conheci Resident Evil aos 10 anos na locadora de vídeo games em que frequentava quando era menor. Um conhecido estava jogando Resident Evil: CODE Veronica. Passei a observar aquele jogo de longe e fui me aproximando. Achei atraente o método em que os cenários mudavam de um para o outro, através daquelas portas, deixando aquele suspense no ar “O que será que tem do outro lado.”

#2 - O que você acha sobre a comunidade Resident Evil aqui no Brasil?

É uma comunidade mista. Mista pelo seguinte motivo. Não generalizando, mas ainda existe rixas entre fãs, seja ela entre fãs dos RE's clássicos e dos RE's mais recentes. E correndo por fora, ainda existe a de fãs dos games Vs fãs dos filmes. Se olhar a fundo, o fato é que os filmes do Paul Anderson de nada há ali Resident Evil como conhecemos (a não ser o nome), mas temos que admitir que existe fãs de Resident Evil (games), que só conheceram os games através dos filmes.

#3 - Qual o seu personagem masculino e feminino preferido da série? Por que você gosta deles ?

Masculino Chris. Dentro da série vejo o Chris como o personagem mais humano. Soldado quando precisa ser e parceiro quando precisa ser, não é um personagem "forçado". E feminina a Claire. A Claire porque é a personagem que mais simpatizo dentro da série, uma personagem que conquista pelo seu carisma e simpatia, tenho certeza que ela também irá ganhar alguns fãs com Revelations 2.

#4 - Você prefere a série em filmes ou em jogos?

Em jogos é claro. Assisto a franquia do Paul Anderson, tanto os filmes em CGI.

#5 - Qual o seu game preferido da franquia?

Pergunta difícil. Mas, Resident Evil 2. Afinal, ele não é eleito como o melhor jogo da série em enquetes à toa, né?

#6 - O que você espera de Resident Evil: Revelations 2?

Espero que siga a proposta do primeiro Revelations, mas com as devidas melhoras que o primeiro deixou a desejar. Os gameplays que vi até aqui, gostei muito. É o típico jogo pra zerá-lo diversas vezes que, não enjoa.

#7 - O que acha da volta de Claire Redfield?

Considerada por muitos como uma personagem sem relevância, enquanto para outras é uma personagem tida como principal. A Claire hoje é mais do que só a “irmã do Chris”, em Revelations 2 ela vai provar se merece ou não sua volta a série. Claire não é mais uma simples civil, não depois de Raccoon City e de tudo que viu e enfrentou. Aparentemente irá sofrer de novo em Revelations 2. “Se não for sofrido não é Redfield.”

#8 - O que você considera mais importante na série, no geral?

Bem, do meu ponto de vista o mais importante em Resident Evil é o vilão. Se o título lançado não tiver um vilão épico, provavelmente o enredo será fraco e até sem nexo (está ai o Resident Evil 6 que não nos deixa mentir). Não é atoa que Resident Evil 5 é o jogo mais vendido de todos os RE’s. O fator Wesker no jogo pesou bastante para o sucesso de RE5.

#9 - Você é um dos administradores do Residevil. Conte-nos como é fazer parte desta equipe.

Prazeroso demais. Passo a maior parte do dia com meus colegas, porém, eles tem uma cabeça bastante diferente da minha, os colegas homens que tenho, poucos são de jogar, as mulheres então, nem se fala. E chegar em casa e escrever uma noticia sobre Resident Evil é o momento que solto toda aquela vontade de falar sobre RE durante o dia inteiro.

#10- O que Resident Evil significa para você?

Significa boa parte da minha vida como gamer. Como disse acima, conheci Resident Evil aos 10 anos, hoje estou com 17, não é um tempo tão grande assim de série, mas é um tempo considerável, e boa parte desses anos foi sim jogando Resident Evil.

E é como a nossa dama de vestido vermelho sempre fala: “See you around”.

# 1 - How did you meet the Resident Evil series?

Resident Evil met after 10 years in the video store where attending games when I was younger. An acquaintance was playing Resident Evil: CODE Veronica. I started to watch that game away and I approached. Found attractive method in which the scenarios changed from one to the other, through those doors, leaving that suspense in the air "I wonder what's on the other side."

# 2 - What do you think about the Resident Evil community here in Brazil?

It is a mixed community. Mixed for the following reason. Not generalizing, but there is still feuding fans, whether among fans of classic RE's and RE's latest. And running out, there is still a fan of the games Vs fans of the films. If you look at the background, the fact is that the films of Paul Anderson of Resident Evil there is nothing there to know (except the name), but we have to admit that there are fans of Resident Evil (games), who only knew them through games movies.

# 3 - What is your favorite male and female character in the series? Why do you like them?

Chris Male. Within the series I see Chris as the most human character. Soldier when need be and partner when need be, is not a "forced" character. And female Claire. Claire because it is the character who most sympathize in the series, a character who conquers by his charisma and sympathy, I am sure she will also win a few fans with Revelations 2.

# 4 - Do you prefer the series into movies or games?

In games of course. Watch the franchise's Paul Anderson, both CGI films.

# 5 - What's your favorite game in the franchise?

Tough question. But Resident Evil 2 After all, he is not elected as the best game of the series in polls for nothing, right?

# 6 - What do you expect from Resident Evil: Revelations 2?

I hope you follow the proposal of the first Revelations, but with the necessary improvements to the first left to be desired. The gameplays I've seen so far, I really liked. It is a typical game to reset it several times, not get seasick.

# 7 - What do you think of the return of Claire Redfield?

Considered by many as a character without relevance, while for others it is a character taken as primary. Claire is today more than just a "sister of Chris" in Revelations 2 she will prove whether or not the series deserves its back. Claire is no longer a simple civil, not after Raccoon City and all he saw and experienced. Apparently will suffer again in Revelations 2 "If not suffered Redfield is not."

# 8 - What do you consider most important in the series in general?

Well, my most important in Resident Evil viewpoint is the villain. If the title has not released an epic villain, the plot probably will be weak and even nonsensical (Resident Evil 6 leaves us no lie). It is not for nothing that Resident Evil 5 is the best selling game of all RE's. Wesker factor in the game weighed heavily in the success of RE5.

# 9 - You are one of the administrators Residevil. Tell us how to be part of this team.

Pleasurable too. I spend most of the day with my colleagues, however, they have a very different of my head, the male colleagues who have, few are playing, women then forget it. And come home and write a news about Resident Evil is the moment that will loose all that talk about RE throughout the day.

# 10 - What Resident Evil mean to you?

Means good part of my life as a gamer. As said above, Resident Evil met at age 10, I am now 17, is not such a great time as well of the series, but it is a considerable time, and most of those years but was playing Resident Evil.

And as is our lady in red dress always says, "See you around".
